One day Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf went out to hunt and saw nine dogs next to a young boy who was about ten years old and had sheep.

Al-Hajjaj said to him:

Boy, what are you doing here?

The boy raised his limb to him and said to him:

You bearer of news, you have looked at me with contempt, and you spoke to me with pride, your words are mighty words, and your mind is a megalomaniacal !!!

Al-Hajjaj said to him:

Did you not know me?

And the boy said:

I knew you with the blackness of your face because you came to speak before peace.

Al-Hajjaj said:

I will tell you Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf.

And the boy said:

God does not bring your home or shrine closer, so what is your words and the least honor?

He did not complete his words but the armies flew over him from all sides, so the pilgrims ordered them to carry him to his palace, so he sat in his majlis, and the people around him were sitting, and from his prestige they were knocked and he was among them like a lion, then he asked to bring the boy.

When he appeared in his hands, the boy raised his head and turned his gaze and saw the building of the palace high, decorated with inscriptions and mosaics, and he was very creative and perfect.

And the boy said:

Adopt with all the proceeds a verse you tamper with and take factories that you may perpetuate, and if you are oppressed, you are tyrannical.

The pilgrims sat upright and was reclining and said:

Have you memorized the Quran?

And the boy said:

Is the Qur’an escaped from me so that I can memorize it?

Al-Hajjaj asked him:

Have you collected the Quran?

And the boy said:

Is it scattered until I collect it?

Al-Hajjaj said to him:

Did you not understand my question.

And the boy answered:

You should say have you read the Qur’an and understood what it is in.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me who was created out of air?

And who was preserved with air? And who perished with the air?

And the boy said:

Who was created from the air, our master Jesus, peace be upon him, who was preserved by air, our master Solomon bin Dawood, peace be upon them both, and as for the one who perished with the air, they are the people of Hood.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me who is made of wood? Who was preserved in wood, and who perished in wood?

And the boy said:

Zachariah, peace be upon him, who perished with wood, was the serpent created from the stick of Moses, and the one who preserved with wood, Noah, peace be upon him.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me who was created from water?

And who survived the water? And who perished with water?

And the boy said:

He who was created from water is our father Adam, peace be upon him.

And Moses, peace be upon him, who escaped from the water, and who perished with water Pharaoh.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me about who was created from fire? And who was saved from the fire?

And the boy said:

Satan was created from fire, and Abraham, peace be upon him, escaped from fire.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me about the mind? And faith? And modesty? And generosity? And the guts? And generosity? And lust?

And the boy said:

God divided the mind into ten divisions, making nine in men and one in women.

Faith is ten nine in Yemen and one in the rest of the world,

Modesty is ten nine in women and one in men.

And generosity is ten nine in men and one in women.

Courage and generosity are ten nine in the Arabs and one in the rest of the world,

Desire is ten categories, nine in women and one in men.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me about the closest thing to you?

So the boy said: the hereafter.

Then Al-Hajjaj said:

Glory be to God! Wisdom comes to whom He wills from among His servants I have never seen a boy God has come to knowledge, reason and intelligence like this boy

Then Al-Hajjaj said:

Tell me about the women?

And the boy said:

You ask me about women when I was young, and I have not yet been informed of their conditions, their desires, and their intercourse, but I will mention to you the famous of their affairs.

So the girl of ten years of al-hoor al-'iyn, the girl of twenty years, a picnic for the beholders, the girl of thirty is a paradise of bliss, the girl of forty is fat and soft, the girl of fifty daughters and boys, and the girl of sixty has nothing to do with the questioners.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Well, boy, and beautifully, and you covered us with the sea of your knowledge, so we were obliged to honor you, then he ordered him a thousand dinars, a good clothing, a maid, a sword and a horse.

Al-Hajjaj said to himself:

If he took the mare he escaped, and if he took another, she killed him, when he presented it to him

Al-Hajjaj said:

Take what you want, boy

And the boy said:

If you choose me, then I choose the Persians, but if you are Ibn Halal, then you give me everyone.

Al-Hajjaj said:

Take them, may God bless you in them.

And the boy said:

I kiss them. I will not leave God with you but others, and let me gather with you again.

And the boy emerged from the hands of the pilgrims safely and looted thanks to his intelligence, understanding, knowledge and good knowledge.
