Once upon a time there was an oppressive and arrogant king who had a great palace, and next to the palace there was an old woman's mud hut.
One day the old woman went and asked the guards to see the king, but he refused and said what this old woman wants from me, so they said that it must be something important because she is asking for you, and the king agreed to her request thinking that it is an important thing. The old woman entered the king's palace and when she saw the king, she asked him to feed her because she was very hungry, so he looked at her cynically and despised her, and rebuked her and said, How dare you ask to meet me for such a matter, then he ordered his guards to throw her outside.
Then the king ordered that they demolish her hut because it was not suitable for the palace.
The old woman stood up and said to him: The time will come when you ask for my help.
And the king laughed and said to her: I am a king and I have what I want from the money, gold and good things I want, and you are a poor old woman who does not have anything.
The king ordered everyone in the country not to help the old woman, and that whoever helped her would be imprisoned, for daring to take on the king of the country.
The king returned to the palace and vanity possessed it, while the poor old woman resorted to caves and mountains and started to eat plants and drink from dirty springs until her hunger was quenched, and thus she became the distinction of all plants.
One day, as is his custom, the king called his servants and his assistants from among the princes to his council and ordered the servants to slaughter a lot of sheep, so the table was made of meat and fresh fruits. Then the king ate, but suddenly he cried and fell to the ground, and he became ill and his powers collapsed. The palace doctor tried to treat him, but he was unable to treat him.
His entourage summoned doctors from every country to treat him, but they were unable to do so and every doctor who was unable to heal the king beheaded.
After a while, the king's condition worsened and he nearly died, so the king ordered one of his aides to go and call in the country: that whoever can heal the king will build a palace for him and give him gold, silver, money and livestock such as horses, cows, goats, etc., and then he will be with the king from close associates.
So the old woman heard the condition of the king, when I went to him and asked him to treat him.
King said to her you want the old mandate healing ?
She told him, yes, God willing. So she went to the mountains and picked some plants, and because she was eating the plants, she knew them well, so she took some plants and boiled them with water, so she produced from that medicine and put it in a bowl and took it to the king and asked him to drink from it, as it is a cure for everything.
The king drank from the medicine that the old woman had made, so he recovered partially and continued to drink the medicine, and after a day or two the king recovered completely, then the old woman stood and told him I remember a day I told you there will come a day and ask for my help and he remembered the king and said to her yes I remember that day.
From today onwards, I will not despise a person, regardless of whether he is weak or poor or otherwise, or someone who has no social status or position, and I will respect all of my people. My stature does not mean that I am better than the people.
The king built a great palace for her next to his palace and gave her of gold, silver, money, livestock, and much food, and she became close to the king, and called her palace the palace of the poor, for being poor she remembered the poor and invited them from all over the country to her palace to live in and to shelter them from the heat of summer and cold winter, and she fed them and made them smile Their faces and satisfaction are in their hearts, so they thanked her a lot for the mercy that she showed them to them. She was the ideal in extending a helping hand, assistance and mercy to the poor and needy ...
