In the northwestern part of the Arabian Peninsula, within the present-day Tabuk region, in the land of the Hejaz, is a city that was inhabited by the owners of the grove

And this name was given to them because they used to worship the Ike trees. God mentioned in the Noble Qur’an that the people of Median were near the people of Thamud, and that our master Moses sought refuge with them as a fugitive from Egypt and married one of their daughters.

 And they mentioned in the name of the companions of the grove in the words of the Almighty: (And the companions of the shek and a people shall be sold, all the lies of the messengers are true and are feast)

The owners of the grove from the people of Median had a very bad habit, which is that they were deceiving the balance and reducing the measure, and more than that they used to worship the grove tree, which is a young tree wrapped in many leaves, so God Almighty sent their Prophet Shuaib, may God be pleased with him, so he called them to worship God and to stop cheating And manipulating the scale and advising them to base their lives on the basis of justice and charity, and their human beings and warn them and exaggerate their preaching,

 But some people met his call with mockery and disobedience

So Shuaib called upon them, peace be upon him, and God Almighty answered his prayers and afflicted his people with extreme heat, so that the water does not quench their thirst, and the shadows do not protect them, or the mountains or hills prevent them from this heat. And they all became under the cloud, until the cloud began to throw them with swarms of sparks and flames, and the screaming and torment of the Qur'an came to them, known as the torment of the Great Day of the Canopy as a sign of the cloud that they sheltered with and the earth shook under their feet until they all perished

God Almighty said in Surat Al-Shuara ', and they disbelieved it, so it took them the torment of the day of the shade For it was the torment of a great day
